Kate Wilson is a British children’s publishing executive and editor. She began her career in 1986 and has worked primarily in children’s books, starting in rights and progressing into senior leadership roles.
Wilson served as Managing Director of Macmillan Children’s Books and later as Group Managing Director of Scholastic UK Ltd. In 2010 she founded Nosy Crow, an independent children’s publisher, and has led the company as Group CEO.
Her focus has been on commissioning and publishing stories for young readers across picture books, fiction and non-fiction, alongside developing innovative formats and brands for families and schools.
Nosy Crow was named Independent Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards in 2020.
