Kalynn Bayron is an American author known for her work in young adult fiction. Her debut novel, Cinderella Is Dead, was published by Bloomsbury in 2020. The book reimagines the classic fairy tale and has been recognised for its exploration of identity and social themes. In 2021, Bayron released This Poison Heart, also with Bloomsbury, followed by its sequel, This Wicked Fate, in 2022. Her middle grade debut, The Vanquishers, was published by Bloomsbury in 2022 and was named a 2022 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature longlist title.
