John Woodward biography

John Woodward is a children’s non-fiction author. His books include Ocean: A Visual Encyclopedia, Weather Watcher and Super Earth Encyclopedia. He also works as a conservation volunteer on a wildlife reserve.

Ocean: A Visual Encyclopedia, written by DK and John Woodward, was published by DK Children on 21 July 2015. It is a 256-page children’s reference book for readers aged 8 to 12, covering ocean life and the world’s waters.

Life Through Time was published by DK Children on 1 September 2020. The 32-page book is for readers aged 7 to 11 and follows the story of life on Earth from early species through dinosaurs, megafauna and human ancestors.

Eyewitness Climate Change, written by DK and John Woodward, was published by DK Children on 24 August 2021. The 72-page book is for readers aged 9 to 12 and explains Earth’s changing climate, its effects and actions people can take to respond to climate change.
