Jo Lindley is a British author-illustrator who works in picture books and middle-grade fiction. She is represented by The Plum Agency.
Lindley studied architecture before moving into illustration, later retraining through courses including Make Art That Sells and CityLit. She credits her architectural background with shaping her approach to visual storytelling and composition.
She publishes under the moniker “archistrator,” combining her architectural and illustration skills. Her portfolio includes the Best Friends with Big Feelings series (Farshore) and books such as Where Does My Poo Go? (DK).
Lindley’s picture book Hello Summer was published in June 2023. She also co-hosts the podcast Friends With Pens, which explores themes in children’s literature and illustration.
