Jennifer Killick biography

Jennifer Killick is a British author known for her work in children’s literature. She studied at Brunel University, where she completed a Master’s degree in Creative Writing. Killick’s debut novel, Alex Sparrow and the Really Big Stink, was published in 2017 by Firefly Press. This book is the first in a series featuring the character Alex Sparrow, a boy with unusual superpowers.

Following the success of her debut, Killick continued the series with Alex Sparrow and the Furry Fury in 2018 and Alex Sparrow and the Zumbie Apocalypse in 2019. Her writing is characterised by humour and adventure, appealing to middle-grade readers.

In addition to the Alex Sparrow series, Killick authored the Crater Lake series, starting with Crater Lake in 2020, published by Firefly Press. The sequel, Crater Lake: Evolution, was released in 2021. These books combine elements of horror and mystery, set in a school trip scenario.
