Jan Fearnley is a British author and illustrator of children’s picture books. She studied graphic design in Newcastle and worked as a preschool teacher / early childhood educator. Her experience with children inspired her to begin creating books for young readers.
Her bibliography includes titles such as Mr Wolf’s Pancakes, Mr Wolf and the Three Bears, Just Like You, and Little Robin Red Vest. Many of her books have been published by Egmont and Nosy Crow. Her works have been translated into other languages.
She has received recognition, including illustration awards (for example, the AOI Gold Award for illustration for Mr Wolf and the Three Bears) and her books are popular in educational settings.
She continues to produce original stories and charming retellings, and *Mr Wolf’s Pancakes* remains one of her most enduring titles, with new editions released over time.
