Jake Maddox biography

Jake Maddox was born in the United States. He writes children’s books. His work covers team sports, outdoor activities, survival adventures and auto racing. His stories are centred on teamwork, fair play, self-worth and discipline.

His sports fiction includes Mr. Strike Out and BMX Bully, both published on 1 August 2006, and Motocross Double-Cross, published on 1 August 2007. He later published Blizzard!: A Survive! Story on 19 October 2008 and Off the Bench on 1 April 2010. A Jake Maddox collection in the Jake Maddox Sports Stories series was published on 1 July 2011.

His later books include Hockey Rink Heroes, published on 1 August 2020. He also wrote Hot Shot Hockey and Trust on Thin Ice, both published on 1 January 2023.
