Humza Arshad biography

Humza Arshad is a British author and comedian known for his work in children’s literature and digital media. He is the co-author of the Little Badman series, which he writes with Henry White. The series is illustrated by Aleksei Bitskoff and published by Puffin. The first book, Little Badman and the Invasion of the Killer Aunties, was published in 2019. The books follow the adventures of Humza Khan, a young rapper navigating school life and unusual events in his community.

In addition to his writing, Arshad is recognised for his YouTube comedy series Diary of a Badman, which has attracted a large following. He has also worked on projects aimed at young people, including school visits and workshops addressing issues such as extremism and online safety.

Arshad’s Little Badman series has received attention for its humour and its portrayal of British Pakistani culture. The second book in the series, Little Badman and the Time-travelling Teacher of Doom, was published by Puffin in 2020.
