Heidi Pross Gray is a children’s author–illustrator known for a quartet of picture books about the seasons, created with her own watercolour artwork. Her titles are issued through CreateSpace/independent channels and are widely listed by major book retailers and libraries.
Gray’s seasonal series began with Autumn is Here! (CreateSpace, 21 September 2012), followed by Winter is Here! (20 November 2012), Spring is Here! (15 March 2013), and Summer is Here! (15 July 2013). The books introduce early-years readers to changes in the natural world and simple family activities associated with each season. Retail catalogues record 34–36 pages per volume and square-format editions suitable for read-aloud use.
Alongside her picture books, Gray produces watercolour prints and illustrated alphabets and has presented readings of the seasonal titles in online video formats. Her public author profiles describe a focus on nature-themed subjects and hand-painted illustration.
Selected works: Autumn is Here! (2012); Winter is Here! (2012); Spring is Here! (2013); Summer is Here! (2013).
