Gordon D’Arcy is an Irish former rugby player and a coauthor of children’s fiction. He played for Ireland and later became a contributor to The Irish Times.
With writer Paul Howard, D’Arcy coauthored the middle grade rugby series Gordon’s Game. The first book, Gordon’s Game, was published in 2019. It was followed by Blue Thunder in 2020 and Lions Roar in 2021.
An interview published by The Irish Times in October 2019 stated that D’Arcy approached the project as a way to tell his story through a children’s book. The series was published by Penguin Ireland.
Lions Roar, the third book in the series, was published in 2021.
