George Webster is a television presenter, actor and children’s author best known for his work on CBeebies. He began presenting on the channel in 2021 and went on to win the BAFTA Children & Young People Award for Presenter in 2022.
Webster writes picture books published by Scholastic. His debut, This Is Me (2023), was created with collaborator Claire Taylor and illustrated by Tim Budgen. A follow-up picture book, Why Not? (2024), again features Webster’s rhyming text with Budgen’s illustrations. Both titles are positioned for early-years readers and focus on confidence, inclusion and trying new things.
Alongside writing and presenting, Webster has acted in film and television and serves as an ambassador for organisations that support disability inclusion.
He received the BAFTA Children & Young People Presenter award in 2022.
