Gavin Scott was a British writer, producer and novelist. He worked as a journalist before moving into broadcasting and screenwriting.
Scott contributed to documentaries and dramas for the BBC and ITV, and later wrote for film and television in the United States. His credits include work on The Borrowers (1997), Small Soldiers (1998) and the mini-series The Mists of Avalon (2001). He also wrote novels, including the historical adventure series featuring Jack Pembleton, beginning with The Age of Treachery (2016).
The Age of Treachery was published by Thomas Dunne Books in 2016.
