Gavin Mairs is a British sports journalist and author. He is Chief Rugby Correspondent for The Daily Telegraph, where he has worked since 2009.
Mairs has covered rugby union for more than twenty years. His reporting work has included every Rugby World Cup since 1999 and every British and Irish Lions tour since 2001.
He co-wrote Maggie Alphonsi: Winning the Fight: My Autobiography with former England rugby player Maggie Alphonsi. The hardback edition was published by Polaris Publishing on 31 August 2023 (ISBN 9781915359018).
