Frida Nilsson biography
Frida Nilsson is a Swedish author known for her work in children’s literature. She began her writing career in 2004 with the publication of Kråkans otroliga liftarsemester. Nilsson has written several books for children, often featuring adventurous and imaginative stories. Her works include Hedvig!, The Ice Sea Pirates, and Apstjärnan (published in English as The Ape Star).
Nilsson’s books have been recognised in Sweden and internationally. She has received several awards and nominations for her writing. In 2019, her novel The Ice Sea Pirates was shortlisted for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.
