Faye Bird biography

Faye Bird writes fiction for young adults. Before becoming a writer, she worked as a literary agent representing screenwriters in film and television. She studied Philosophy and Literature at Warwick University.

Her books include My Second Life, a young adult mystery thriller about Ana, a teenage girl who remembers a previous life as Emma and tries to uncover the truth about Catherine. My Second Life was published in 2014.

What I Couldn’t Tell You was published on 1 May 2016. The novel follows Tessie, a selectively mute teenager, after her sister Laura is left in a coma and Laura’s boyfriend Joe disappears.

My Secret Lies With You was published on 1 June 2019. The story centres on Cait, Alys and two summers shaped by Alys’s disappearance and Cait’s search for the truth.
