Enomwoyi Damali is a Trinidad-born author who lives in London. She works as an educational psychologist and draws on her professional experience in schools when writing for children.
Her books focus on themes of self-confidence, kindness and respect. She has written a series of stories about Nzingha, including Nzingha and Being Kind and Nzingha and Saying Goodbye. She has also created the “Amber Class” series, beginning with Meet Amber Class, published by Otter-Barry Books in 2025. These stories feature Mrs Adisa and her pupils as they explore everyday challenges and learn about friendship and individuality.
Damali has said that her author name, Enomwoyi, means “she has grace and charm”. Alongside her professional role, she continues to write children’s books that encourage positive values and personal development.
