Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Emily Sutton is a British illustrator and artist known for her work in children’s books. She studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and completed an exchange at the Rhode Island School of Design. Sutton has collaborated with author Nicola Davies on several picture books, including Lots: The Diversity of Life on Earth and Grow: Secrets of Our DNA, both published by Walker Books. Her illustrations are recognised for their detailed and vibrant style, often inspired by her interest in the natural world and objects from everyday life.
In addition to her work in publishing, Sutton has produced designs for a range of clients, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and Fortnum & Mason. She has also created prints, ceramics, and textiles, and her artwork has been exhibited in galleries.
