Elizabeth Verdick is an American author of children’s books, particularly non-fiction titles that support social and emotional learning. She has written extensively for Free Spirit Publishing, producing guides for children, parents and educators.
Her works include the Best Behavior series, with titles such as Germs Are Not for Sharing, Words Are Not for Hurting and Tails Are Not for Pulling. She is also the author of the Toddler Tools series, including Naptime, Mealtime and Clean-Up Time. These books use simple language and illustrations to teach everyday routines and positive behaviour to young children.
