Brian Gordon is an American cartoonist best known for creating the webcomic series Fowl Language. The comic, which began in 2013, features anthropomorphic ducks and focuses on the humorous aspects of parenting. Gordon previously worked as a cartoonist at Hallmark Cards for nearly two decades, where he contributed to various greeting card lines.
His first published collection, Fowl Language: Welcome to Parenting, was released by Andrews McMeel Publishing in 2016. This was followed by Fowl Language: The Struggle Is Real in 2017 and Fowl Language: Winging It in 2019. Gordon’s work has appeared in newspapers, online platforms, and has been widely shared on social media.
In 2017, Fowl Language was nominated for a Reuben Award by the National Cartoonists Society in the Online Comics – Short Form category.
