Anna Bright is an American author of young adult fantasy novels. Her books include The Beholder, The Boundless, The Song That Moves the Sun and The Hedgewitch of Foxhall. She is represented by Elana Roth Parker at the Laura Dail Literary Agency and has also worked as an independent bookseller.
Bright’s debut novel, The Beholder, was published by HarperTeen, an imprint of HarperCollins, in 2019. It follows Selah, the heir to Potomac, who is sent across the Atlantic to court a succession of potential husbands after a public rejection. Its sequel, The Boundless, followed in 2020.
Her standalone YA fantasy The Song That Moves the Sun was published in 2022. The Hedgewitch of Foxhall, published by HarperTeen in 2024, is set in a magical version of Wales and follows hedgewitch Ffion as she becomes involved in a quest connected to King Offa’s Dyke and the future of Welsh magic.
Bright is also the author of Wings of Reverie, part of the Disney Wings of Pixie Hollow series. Set centuries after Wings of Starlight, it follows frost fairy Periwinkle and a dream-talent named Weaver as they confront a threat to the Winter Woods and the Pixie Dust Tree. Random House/Disney published Wings of Reverie on 4 August 2026.
