Amy Johnson is an American author of young-adult science-fiction and dystopian fiction. She writes under the name Amy Johnson and is known for the Idyllic series.
The first book in the series, Caged, was published in 2021. It tells the story of Eden, who endures experiments and imprisonment in a future ruled by machines. The sequel, Lost, appeared in September 2021 and continues Eden’s journey in a post-apocalyptic world where artificial intelligences battle for dominance.
Johnson began writing as a teenager and later developed the Idyllic series as a young-adult dystopian narrative. Both books have been described by readers as fast-paced and emotionally engaging.
Lost was released in September 2021.
