Alix.E Harrow biography

Alix E. Harrow writes fantasy, historical fiction and science fiction. Her full-length novels include The Ten Thousand Doors of January, The Once and Future Witches and Starling House. The Ten Thousand Doors of January won a Hugo Award, and Harrow has also written short fiction.

A Spindle Splintered is the first volume in her Fractured Fables series and was published by Tordotcom. The novella reimagines Sleeping Beauty and includes Arthur Rackham’s original illustrations for The Sleeping Beauty. A Mirror Mended is the second volume in the Fractured Fables series and reworks Snow White through the story of Zinnia Gray and the Evil Queen.

A Spindle Splintered was shortlisted for the 2022 Hugo Award and the 2022 British Fantasy Award. A Mirror Mended was a Hugo and Locus Award finalist and a finalist for the SIBA Southern Book Prize. The Everlasting was published by Tor Books, with ISBN 9781250799081.
