Alison Green is a British children’s author and publisher. She is the author of Kind, published by Scholastic in 2019, a picture book that promotes empathy and understanding through contributions from more than thirty well-known illustrators. The book features a foreword by Axel Scheffler and highlights practical ways for children to show kindness in their daily lives. Proceeds from Kind support the charity Three Peas, which provides aid to refugees.
In addition to her work as an author, Green is the publisher of Alison Green Books, an imprint of Scholastic UK responsible for a range of bestselling and award-winning children’s titles. Her editorial projects have included collaborations with authors and illustrators such as Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Kind was published by Scholastic in October 2019.
