Eli just wants to feel something. Anything. Since his accident, he has felt nothing and can remember nothing. In a desperate desire to feel more than the ‘Overwhelming Emptiness’ diagnosed by his therapist, Eli begins to act more and more recklessly. One fateful act leads him to a potential answer – Traumaland.
Traumaland is an underground club, existing in the neon shadows, where thrill-seekers experience hyper-real VR simulations. A night that begins with a glimmer of hope – as Eli finally feels a flicker of human emotion – leaves him reeling after ‘Jack’s Story’ hits too close to home.
Eli teams up with friends, old and new, as he delves deeper into the dark mystery surrounding Traumaland and his accident. Traumaland is a dark psychological thriller that blends horror culture references with a coming-of-age story, set in a modern, dystopian future. It will appeal to fans of The Housemaid and Netflix’s Black Mirror.
