“Huff, huff, Whisper, whisper, Shake, shake”.
Friends explore nature during a hike up a mountain, using their senses. This is a journey of mindfulness that guides children to appreciate the outdoors and to really listen and connect.
This is a simple story encouraging empathy with living things and listening to enchanting sounds. Warm scenic illustrations, alliterations and descriptive, calming wording, take you on their journey. On the way, they enjoy the little things such as the texture of pine cones and echos.
I Hear You, Mountains is a lovely read if you’re planning on going to the countryside, park or any outdoor space. Appreciating the outdoors using senses and mindfulness techniques is very therapeutic to mind and body. This book is a good, calming resource for young children.
