Tomo Kimura biography
Tomo Kimura is a Japanese–English manga translator and instructor.
He has translated more than 240 manga volumes into English, across genres including shōjo, shōnen, seinen and fantasy.
Among his translation works are Black Butler (simulpub), Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, BEASTARS and Skip Beat!
He teaches manga translation in Tokyo, emphasising issues of translating from Japanese into English.
He maintains an official site which lists works for publishers such as VIZ and Yen Press.
