Terri Po is a children’s book illustrator. Her work appears across non-fiction and information books for primary readers. Publisher biographies note that she was highly commended in the FAB Prize and that she is originally from Hong Kong. She studied illustration at the University of Edinburgh.
Po’s first major commission with Faber & Faber Children’s was David Long’s large-format compendium Spies, an illustrated history of espionage for ages 9–11. The book was first published in hardback in 2022 and later in paperback in 2023.
She went on to illustrate Long’s Flight: From a Balloon to the Moon – and Beyond, which traces aviation from early ballooning to space travel. This title was issued by Faber & Faber Children’s on 26 September 2024.
Po illustrated Inside Story: How the News Works, written by Jane Marlow and produced with ITN Productions for Templar Publishing. Aimed at developing media literacy for 8–12 year olds, it was published on 1 February 2024.
Her recent and forthcoming collaborations with Flying Eye Books include illustrating Dr Sharon Wismer’s Wildlife in the Balance: The Species that Shape Earth’s Ecosystems (2024), and Ben Elcomb’s Diagnosis Detectives: Tummy Trouble, an introductory human biology title scheduled for publication in 2026.
Flight: From a Balloon to the Moon – and Beyond was published on 26 September 2024; Wildlife in the Balance was published in 2024; Diagnosis Detectives: Tummy Trouble is scheduled for 6 January 2026.
