Tamara Moss biography

Tamara Moss is an author of children’s and young adult fiction. She completed a BA majoring in Asian Studies at the University of Western Australia and later worked in schools as a primary teacher. Her published biography also credits her with teaching Japanese and interning at the independent publisher Twelfth Planet Press.

Moss is the author of the middle-grade fantasy adventure Lintang series. It begins with Lintang and the Pirate Queen and continues with Lintang and the Forbidden Island and Lintang and the Brightest Star.

She has also written YA crime and mystery. Her novel The Escape Game is a YA murder mystery co-authored with Marissa Meyer.

Lintang and the Pirate Queen was shortlisted for the 2018 Readings Children’s Book Prize.
