Simon Mole is a British poet, performer, and children’s author. He has a background in spoken word and has worked extensively in schools, libraries, and community settings, leading workshops and performances for young people. Mole’s work often focuses on encouraging creativity and self-expression through poetry and storytelling.
He is the author of several children’s books, including Kites, illustrated by Oamul Lu and published by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books. Mole has also written I Love My Bike, illustrated by Sam Usher, which was published by Walker Books in 2021.
In addition to his writing, Simon Mole has collaborated with musicians and other artists on projects designed to inspire children’s interest in poetry and performance. He has delivered workshops and events at festivals, schools, and cultural venues across the UK.
