Sarah Brill is an Australian writer of fiction for young adults and adults. She grew up in Perth and began writing plays at the age of fifteen before expanding into work for film and radio.
Her debut novel, Glory (Spinifex Press, 2002; ISBN 9781876756253), is a work of young adult fiction. Brill’s second novel, Symphony for the Man (Spinifex Press, 2020; ISBN 9781925950069), was released by the Australian independent publisher Spinifex Press.
Brill returned to writing for teenagers with the contemporary YA novel Catch (Allen & Unwin Children’s, 2025; ISBN 9781761182037), which follows a sixteen-year-old who discovers a life-saving ability.
Catch was published by Allen & Unwin Children’s in 2025.
