Sabrina Chevannes is a British author, chess player, and educator. She is known for her contributions to children’s literature, particularly in the field of chess education. Chevannes has represented England in international chess competitions and has achieved the title of Woman FIDE Master.
Chevannes has written several instructional books aimed at helping young readers learn and improve their chess skills. Her works include Chess for Children and My First Chess Book, both published by Batsford. These books are designed to introduce the fundamentals of chess to beginners, using clear explanations and engaging illustrations.
In addition to her writing, Chevannes has been involved in teaching chess to children and promoting the game in schools. She has also contributed to chess journalism and has been active in organising chess events for young players.
Her book Chess for Children was published by Batsford in 2013.
