Ryan Johnson is a children’s author who co-wrote the middle-grade fantasy novel Unbound with Jared Branahl. The book centres on brothers Max and JB, who discover they can stop time and travel through a world where most people are frozen.
Unbound was reviewed by Kirkus Reviews as a debut middle-grade fantasy by Johnson and Branahl, with a release date of 9 November 2023. The book has been published in later editions, including a hardback edition dated 7 November 2024.
