Rory Kinnear biography

Rory Kinnear is a British actor and writer known for his work across theatre, television, and film. He is the son of actor Roy Kinnear. Rory Kinnear has appeared in numerous stage productions, including performances with the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. His theatre roles have included Hamlet, Iago in Othello, and Angelo in Measure for Measure.

In addition to his acting career, Kinnear has written for the stage. His debut play, The Herd, premiered at the Bush Theatre in London in 2013. The play explores family dynamics and was directed by Howard Davies. Kinnear’s writing has been noted for its focus on contemporary issues and character-driven narratives.

On television, Kinnear has appeared in series such as Black Mirror and Inside No. 9. He is also known for his role as Bill Tanner in the James Bond film series, appearing in Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time to Die (2021).
