Rebecca Lewis-Oakes is a children’s author whose career began in editorial, working in children’s publishing for over ten years before writing full time. She has since authored fiction and nonfiction for young readers and has also written under house pseudonyms.
She co-wrote the young fiction phenomenon The Naughtiest Unicorn as Pip Bird and later created the magical chapter-book series Dream Keepers, illustrated by Anastasiya Kanavaliuk for Piccadilly Press. The series follows friends who protect their town’s dreams each night and is aimed at readers aged 6+.
Her other titles include the illustrated fact book Mythical Science (2022) and the football-themed trivia title The Lionesses (HarperCollins). She also writes for younger readers, including the comic early-chapter series Nora Nightsky.
Piccadilly Press published Dream Keepers: Secrets of Moon Wood in 2025.
