Rassi Narika is an Indonesian children’s author-illustrator whose picture books explore perspective, everyday wonder and friendship. Her UK debut, When It Rains, pairs her story and artwork with an English translation by Ikhda Ayuning Maharsi Degoul and Emma Dai’an Wright for young readers.
Earlier Indonesian-language titles include Terbang (2015) and Waktu Hujan Turun (2017). She has also written and illustrated Robot Paling Keren, launched by Seumpama in 2021.
When It Rains was published by The Emma Press on 26 March 2019 for read-aloud sharing from age 3+ and independent reading from age 5+ – paperback ISBN 9781910139639.
