Radiya Hafiza is a British children’s author. She is the author of Rumaysa: A Fairytale, published by Macmillan Children’s Books in 2021. The novel reimagines classic fairytales with a South Asian protagonist and draws on influences from traditional stories. Hafiza’s second book, Rumaysa: Ever After, was published in 2022. Her work has been recognised for its contribution to diverse representation in children’s literature. Rumaysa: A Fairytale was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in 2022.
