Pete Oswald is an American author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature and animation. He has illustrated several picture books, often collaborating with other writers. Among his notable works is The Good Egg, written by Jory John and published by HarperCollins. Oswald has also illustrated other books in the same series, including The Bad Seed and The Cool Bean.
In addition to his work in publishing, Pete Oswald has contributed to the animation industry as a production designer and artist. His background in animation informs his visual storytelling style in picture books. Oswald’s illustrations are recognised for their expressive characters and engaging compositions, appealing to young readers and families.
Oswald’s collaboration with Jory John has resulted in several popular picture books, with The Good Egg published by HarperCollins in 2019.
