Paula Franco biography

Paula Franco is a children’s book illustrator. She studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Instituto Superior Comunicación Visual.

Her illustration work has been featured on the New York Times Children’s Best Seller list, and her books have received a Kirkus Star and a School Library Journal Star.

Franco has illustrated fiction for children across series and stand-alone titles. Her credits include Alex Morgan’s The Kicks series, beginning with Saving the Team (2013), and the Ballet Besties books by Yasmine Naghdi, including Indu’s Time to Shine (Piccadilly Press, 7 November 2024) and Yara’s Chance to Dance (Candlewick, 9 September 2025).

Ballet Besties: Dante’s Winning Dance (Candlewick paperback) is scheduled for publication on 26 May 2026.
