Patti Wheeler biography

Patti Wheeler is a children’s author who writes the middle-grade adventure series Travels with Gannon and Wyatt with Keith Hemstreet. The series includes Travels with Gannon and Wyatt: Botswana (2010), Great Bear Rainforest (2013), Egypt (2014), Travels with Gannon and Wyatt: Greenland (2014), Ireland (2015) and Travels with Gannon and Wyatt: Hawaii (2016).

Her first book in the series, Travels with Gannon and Wyatt: Botswana, won the National Outdoor Book Award. In these books, Gannon and Wyatt travel to settings including Botswana, the Great Bear Rainforest, Egypt, Greenland, Ireland and Hawaii. The sixth book, Travels with Gannon and Wyatt: Hawaii, was published on September 6, 2016.
