Nicky Singer is a British author known for her work in children’s and young adult fiction. She began her writing career with adult non-fiction before moving into fiction for younger readers. Singer’s debut children’s novel, Feather Boy, was published by HarperCollins in 2002. The book received critical recognition and was later adapted for the stage by the National Theatre.
Singer has written several other novels for young readers, including The Innocent’s Story and GemX. Her work often explores complex themes and is noted for its focus on character and emotional depth. In addition to her novels, Singer has written plays and contributed to various anthologies.
Her novel The Survival Game was published by Hodder Children’s Books in 2018.
