Mine Yoshizaki is a Japanese manga creator best known for the long-running comedy and science-fiction series Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsō). The manga began in 1999 in Monthly Shōnen Ace and later spawned a television anime adaptation.
Alongside Sgt. Frog, Yoshizaki created the multimedia franchise Kemono Friends as concept designer, and earlier authored series such as Arcade Gamer Fubuki. His credits also include character design work for video games and related tie-ins, notably Pop’n Tanks! and Otomedius, and the manga Dragon Quest Monsters+.
Yoshizaki worked as an assistant to Katsu Aki early in his career and had his first publication featured in a Shogakukan compilation in 1989. Sgt. Frog received the 50th Shogakukan Manga Award for children’s manga in 2005.
