Meera Trehan is a children’s author whose work focuses on middle grade fiction. She grew up in Virginia, United States, and has a background in law. Trehan’s debut novel, The View from the Very Best House in Town, was published by Walker Books US in 2022. The story explores themes of friendship, neurodiversity, and social dynamics, centring on two friends navigating the complexities of middle school and their neighbourhood.

Trehan’s writing has been noted for its exploration of empathy and perspective, and she draws on her experiences and observations to create nuanced characters. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and has participated in various writing workshops and events aimed at supporting young readers and aspiring writers.

Her debut novel, The View from the Very Best House in Town, was published in 2022.
