Mark C. Jones biography

Mark C. Jones (born 3 June 1970) is a British author and screenwriter. Raised in Manchester, he began his career in film craft, working as a special make-up and stop-motion effects artist on Nightbreed in 1988, and contributing concept design to projects in the early 1990s including Hardware, Jacob’s Ladder and Jekyll & Hyde.

Jones later moved into writing, producing screenplays through the mid-2000s before turning to fiction. In 2018 he self-published the pulp action novel Tin Can Tommies: Darkest Hour, the opening volume in a World War II-inspired robot-commando series that blends war-movie pacing with speculative elements.
