Lauren Roberts biography

Lauren Roberts is a young adult fantasy author whose work blends high-stakes romance with court intrigue and magical trials. Her fiction is aimed at older teens and adults and has attracted a large readership through social and book-club communities.

Roberts’s debut novel, Powerless (2023), introduces a deadly competition and a heroine forced to hide in plain sight. The book’s mix of survival, alliance and slow-burn romance established a bestselling series opener and brought Roberts to wider attention among YA fantasy readers.
