Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Kyle Olmon is a children’s author and paper engineer associated with the Sabuda & Reinhart pop-up studio. His work combines concise, factual text with interactive paper mechanisms designed for primary readers.
Olmon wrote the nonfiction pop-up title Castle: Medieval Days and Knights – a Sabuda & Reinhart Pop-up Book illustrated by Tracy Sabin – introducing castle life, knighting ceremonies, battles and feasts through large spreads and smaller liftable details. The book was first published in 2006.
He is also credited on the series entry Sabuda & Reinhart Pop-Ups: Baby Signs, a concept title presenting simple signing for young children. This work appeared in 2009.
