Katy Flint biography

Katy Flint is a British author and editor known for her work on children’s non-fiction books, particularly those that introduce young readers to music, art, and nature. She has collaborated with a range of illustrators to create interactive and educational titles for children.

Flint is the author of the Listen to the… series, which includes books such as Listen to the Music and Listen to the Dance Music. These books feature sound buttons that allow children to hear excerpts of classical and dance music as they read. The series is published by Wide Eyed Editions, an imprint of Quarto.

She has also written The Story Orchestra series, which introduces children to famous pieces of classical music through illustrated stories. Titles in this series include The Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker, The Story Orchestra: Swan Lake, and The Story Orchestra: Carnival of the Animals.
