Julia Green is a British author known for her work in children’s and young adult fiction. She has written a range of novels for young readers, often exploring themes of family, friendship, and personal growth. Green studied English at university and later worked as a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. In addition to her writing, she has contributed to the field of creative writing education, serving as a lecturer and course leader for the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University.
Her published works include Blue Moon, Hunter’s Heart, Drawing with Light, Breathing Underwater, and This Northern Sky. Green’s books are published by various imprints, including Oxford University Press and Bloomsbury. Her novel To the Edge of the World was published by Oxford University Press in 2018.
