Johannes Radebe is a South African dancer and choreographer, widely recognised for his work on the BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing. Born in South Africa, Radebe began dancing at a young age and went on to achieve success in Latin and Ballroom dance competitions. He has represented South Africa at international dance championships, earning recognition in the field.
Radebe joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer in 2018. Since then, he has partnered with a range of celebrity contestants and has been noted for his performances and choreography on the show. In 2021, Radebe made history on Strictly Come Dancing by being part of the show’s first all-male partnership, dancing with John Whaite.
In addition to his television work, Johannes Radebe is the author of the memoir Jojo: Finally Home, published by Hodder & Stoughton in 2023. The book explores his personal journey, experiences in dance, and his life story.
