Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Jessica Ciccolone is an illustrator of children’s books. She previously worked as a graphic designer for eight years before moving into illustration.
In 2022, she graduated with Distinction from the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. In the same year, she won the Sebastian Walker Prize for Illustration and was highly commended for the V&A Illustration Awards.
Her children’s publishing work includes illustration for picture books, including Room for One More written by Frances Stickley, published by Andersen Press in 2025.
In 2022, Jessica Ciccolone won the Sebastian Walker Prize for Illustration.
