Jan Dunning is a UK young adult author represented by the Anne Clark Literary Agency. She studied Fine Art and English Literature at university and previously worked as an international fashion model before moving into photography, teaching and writing.
Her debut novel, Mirror Me (Scholastic, 2023), is a contemporary YA thriller inspired by the Snow White tale and set in the fashion world. Her second novel, The Last Thing You’ll Hear (Scholastic, 2024), follows two sisters whose summer is upended by a music producer and a rising DJ.
Retail and publisher listings place both titles for teen readers, with Mirror Me released in paperback and The Last Thing You’ll Hear published in paperback with an accompanying playlist promoted by the publisher.
Mirror Me won the Oxfordshire Children’s Book Award (Best Secondary Novel) in 2024.
